Day 4 Monday
22.160 steps

Got up a bit later today (still 08:15) First to Caffit restaurant for breakfast. We know the way. ate yogurt. Walked through the beautiful neighborhood to the old city, past the Damascus gate to the tomb. Looked up the sign "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem" and took a picture of Ries, same idea as picture of mom Ries. Sit in the shade and read. Ries was away for a while and proudly showed a photo posed at the entrance to the tomb. I don't think it's possible and Ries has removed the photos.  Postcards bought in the shop and a large poster of the family tree from Adam to Jesus. Walked through the Damascus gate to the Austrian hospice (Via Dolorosa St 37, Jerusalem) and had lunch here.
Discussion Yoga and being a Christian and Christmas tree. We can't figure it out together.

In the afternoon we walked to the City of David. Taken the wet tunnel (Hezekiah's) under the City of David.
The Canaanite Tunnel is a name given to a tunnel running from the Gihon spring to the southern end of Biblical Jerusalem, ending at the Pool of Siloam. From here you can choose to trek through knee deep water in King Hezekiah's 2,700-year-old water tunnel or walk through a dry tunnel immersing yourself in the wonders of early engineering. Ries wanted to go back halfway up to 2x. We came to the Pool of Siloam where Jesus healed the blind man.

In the late afternoon to near the Western Wall to the Jerusalem Archaeological Site where Hillsongs sang Hosanna.
Girl on violin plays Oceans in Mamilla street near the Jaffa Gate. Via the Western Wall square towards Jaffa Gate (Orange Gate) quietly walked through the Jewish part; what a difference. Tomorrow we are going to eat fallafel here.

In the evening 19:45 to Mamilla Hotel (Shlomo ha-Melekh Street) fancy dinner on the roof floor. Drank a cocktail and ate leg of lamb. Walk back to our Airbnb through Mamilla street.
